SCADA Developer Lever I or II

Reporting - This position reports to SCADA Manager.

Supervisory - This position has no direct reports.

Summary:

This position will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and commission of multiple SCADA projects. This position is also responsible for providing QA/QC services to projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing support for SCADA team as instructed
• Responsible for design and development of database, user interface in Ignition
• Identifying, analyzing, and developing of SCADA software for integration with client systems.
• Assisting a team in the development of software/programming for a SCADA platform based on Ignition
• Providing QA/QC of user interface screens
• Working in a small team environment, sometimes under stress

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Hands on experience in user interface development for IA Ignition and Cygnet systems preferred, (Wonderware or OASys SCADA)
• Minimum of 2 years of scripting/programming language experience (VBScript, .NET, C++ or C#)
• Minimum of 4 years of SCADA development experience
• Achieved Wonderware System Platform Certification or other equivalent SCADA certification

Additional experience is required with the following:

• Familiar with Communication applications (such as AutoSol, Kepware etc.)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking Fundamentals preferred
• Experience in administration and working with Windows-based PCs and servers desirable
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas operations preferred

Work Environment:

• The environment is currently considered “Remote” or “Work from Home”. The position must be available during normal business hours (8 AM- 5:30 PM CST) with occasional on-call rotation to support the needs of the client.
