We are looking for an engineer with demonstrated experience in full stack software development, who excels at frontend development and is customer-focused. You'll be designing and implementing integrations-related features for the Hiring Company product verticals and/or enhance the existing integrations framework(s).
Responsibilities
- Develop integrations and applications across front end, back end and mobile on the Hiring Company’s platforms
- Be an end-to-end owner of cloud-based services
- Contribute changes to the Hiring Company product to improve the SaaS experience
- Follow our engineering best practices, and ensure alignment with our Leadership Principles
- Be a technical project owner, driving projects from requirements to completion stage
- Write thoughtful and high quality code in React and Go
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to solve emergent challenges
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
- You’ll have strong input on the direction of product utility and launch
- Collaborate with our team engineers, designers, product managers, researchers and visual effects engineers
- Being an Open Source product, you’ll also be collaborating with our awesome Community Contributors
- Effectively work while remote, with the ability to travel 2-3 times per year for week-long off-site meetings with team members
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or significant professional software development experience
- 5+ years of previous experience as a developer with a user product development focus, working on large, complex projects
- Strong experience with or an ability to quickly become an expert in Go and React
- Experience developing against relational databases, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL
- English skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken english)
- Experience with distributed application systems using HTTP, RPC, OAuth2, pub/sub at scale
- Comfortable with GitHub/Gitlab, Jira, Jenkins, CircleCI, other dev tools
- Experience working in open source communities
