Role: VB.Net Developer

Location: Hartford, CT

Responsibilities:

• Good knowledge of .Net MVC application. Should have hands on experience in design, coding and implementation. Should have knowledge of sequence diagrams , flowcharts. Should have prior experience on migrating VB6.0 code to VB.net. Ability to interact with client project leads and architect. Should be able to lead a team of developers for assessment of projects and reverse coding. Should be able to propose best practices and help team to resolve technical challenges. • Should have experience in no-code/low code project. • Good knowledge and understanding on VB.Net, ASP.Net, JavaScript, TFS, Unit testing, SQL Server, Web API/MVC/Services • Should have knowledge of US P&C Insurance domain. • Should have strong knowledge and hands on experience on web controls. • Able to perform Defect Root cause analysis. • Strong ability to learn new tools/language quickly • Should be able to work on Product enhancement, maintenance and support work. • Excellent Communication skill. Should be able to interact with client. • Should have good Analytical and Logical skills Added advantage If candidate has experience of working on any PAS product. Experience of Insurity Specific Language will be good. Prior experience with policy decision or policy decision evolution product of Insurity will be good.
