As an IT Software Engineer, you’ll design, create, modify and monitor computer programs by converting project requirements into software solutions using development tools and SQL queries.

Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable about industry trends, is effective at analyzing information, and has strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing current workflows, gathering requirements, designing, and developing systems to ensure workability and sustainability
• Interpreting business requirements and creating a workable application
• Analyzing specifications for compatibility with other systems
• Providing feedback and recommendations for improvements to process, features, functionality, design, and performance
• Analyzing dumps, debugging problems, and applying fix procedures
• Understanding and applying object-oriented software principles
• Develop project requirements by working with end-users and subject matter experts to develop objectives and establish deliverables
• Establish input requirements based on desired output and functionality
• Develop an attack plan to solve business problems and deliver solutions to outlined problems
• Implement design plan using compliant and acceptable mechanisms
• Confirm program operation by alpha tests and modify accordingly
• Prepare documentation/testing instructions for beta testers
• Use of proper source code controls and unit testing toolset

Qualifications

• Experience with Software Algorithm Design, Software Performance Tuning, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Documentation, and Software Testing
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science required
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Agile Programming concepts and processes
• Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies: Azure Cloud, APIs, SQL, C#, MVC, Azure DevOps, React, Redux, Power BI, SSRS, Azure Data Warehouse
