Insight Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of our large automotive customers in the Dearborn, MI area that can sit fully remote. You will be joining the Foundational Services team within the Enterprise Connectivity Department. This group provides numerous application interfaces to various backend systems for 100+ mobile applications and websites. As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for the backend development of these systems. You will be working between 5 teams including User Profile, consent, identity, user communication, and tools. This team works heavily in collaboration, therefore you will be expected to do paired programming on a daily basis, as well as working in a test driven development environment. These Senior Software Engineer openings are majority 85-90% backend and 10-15% front end.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience within backend Java application development on Spring or Spring Boot framework

- Microservices experience with REST APIs

- Experience working in a cloud-based environment - AWS/Azure/GCP/PCF

- Experience with TDD or similar Software Development Life Cycle Agile methodologies
