Noblis is seeking to hire a DevOps Engineer with an Active Top Secret Clearance.

We are looking for a technologist to work with our clients to help design, create, deploy, migrate and maintain solutions in cloud environments. In your role you will work with various teams to develop, deploy, maintain, and migrate solutions in multiple environments for various national security missions spanning identity management, multimedia, and cyber end-to-end systems that are transforming the way law enforcement and intelligence communities handle and analyze information and translate it into actionable intelligence.
You would join Noblis’ identity intelligence group as we continue to grow our software and digital capabilities. Today our team consists of developers, scientists, engineers, researchers, and analysts that have served federal, state, and local government clients on high-consequence problems in analytics, biometrics, AI/machine learning, and forensic science for over 20 years. Our team is engaged across the identity intelligence community and has been instrumental in making our customers’ programs successful in analytics, automation, and digital solutions spanning identity science, AI/machine learning, computer vision, biometrics, forensics, media analytics, systems engineering, software development/integration, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) responsible for provisioning, configuring, and scaling infrastructure in cloud environments (MS Azure, AWS, etc.)
Build, maintain, and use monitoring and automated remediation systems (Grafana, Kibana, etc.)
Work with developer teams to update Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines as part of core software development activities (i.e. Jenkins, Gitlab, etc.)
Continuously improve performance of high traffic, high consequence Systems of Systems (SOS)
Routinely get exposed to and learn new technologies and platforms
Participate in and contribute daily agile development standups with one or more teams
Continually identify and act upon opportunities for improvement through business process automation (BPA) and robotic process automation (RPA)
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related technical field and 3 years work experience OR 9 years work experience
Active SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain a TS clearance
At least 2 years of hands on experience in one or more of the following areas: Linux system administration, DevOps, software development and engineering, and cloud-based technologies
Hands on experience of a broad ranges of technology systems and are able to work with:
Linux administration and configuration management systems
Cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure
Any of the following configuration management systems: Ansible, Packer, Terraform
Programming languages and scripting methods including: Python, Bash, Java, C, C++, .NET
Databases, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch
Web development frameworks / libraries: Vue, Flask, Laravel, Bootstrap, Angular, React
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment systems: Jenkins, Gitlab, Bamboo
Revision control systems such as git
Desired Skills And Knowledge
You are knowledgeable and have hands on experience with agile, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices
You desire to work in an agile and cross functional team environment, understand team goals and generate appropriate, innovative analytical insights to drive process and experience improvement
You challenge the status quo and are hungry to explore, evaluate, and understand new technologies
Experience working with USG clients, operational components, and stakeholders
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite
Ability to self manage, has strong self-organization skills, and is eager to contribute
Is comfortable working with teams across geographic bounds
