Symplast – A leader in Mobile Practice Management for Aesthetic and Medspa Software seeks an addition to the team.
Symplast is a rapidly growing company specializing in software solutions aimed at improving patient/doctor relationships while having complete oversight/control of the many facets of delivering best service to patients. We are in need to expand our great team aimed at servicing customers remotely and on site (for local customers) by problem-solving daily customer issues and improving the product by attentively listening, documenting and escalating items as they are communicated by the customer.
Symplast is looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, monitoring/identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. You will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately, and securely.
Experience:
5+ years expertise with Azure DevOps Cloud Engineering, Architecture and Administration
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery patterns, including Infrastructure-as-Code, and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Services, Application Insights, Terraform, etc.)
Experience with IIS (hosting and troubleshooting web services)
Experience with Azure Repos, branching, code review and code analysis tools
Experience with Kubernetes (any cloud provider)
Experience with MS SQL administration
Monitoring experience with Azure, Application Insights, or other tools
Ability to assess the requirement, environment and suggest right tools / technologies
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Experience with configuration of Load Balancers (Azure Load Balancers, Azure Application Gateway, AWS)
On-Call availability to collaborate and quickly resolve production infrastructure issues
Experience with data migration a huge plus!

Involvement working with the DevOps team on continuous improvement and sustained engineering
Development of infrastructure and CI/CD process for microservices with HIPAA compliance

Self-motivation: This is remote work with general oversight and no micromanagement. Need to hold yourself accountable to your projects and teammates

Ability to monitor, analyze and proactively resolve infrastructure issues as they arise
Advanced Oral and Written Communication: Effectively conveys information and ideas in concise and meaningful exchanges through written and verbal communication
Ability to adapt in a fast paced, changing environment
Telecommunication Requirements:
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Wired, high-speed connection preferred
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure
