The Role:

We are currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data & Systems Operations team. Integrate’s data is treated as a critical corporate asset and is seen as a competitive advantage in our business. This role is essential to the organizational goal of integrating presently independent services and increasing our feature deployment velocity.

This position will focus on SQL, AWS, and Snowflake skills in the ETL and data warehousing functions. This growing team is working with millions of records to build scalable data pipelines for different teams creating a rich data stream that ultimately drives increased data and analytics consumption within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop workflows, programs, and ETL to support data ingestion, curation, and provisioning of fragmented data for analytics.
  • Use Scala, SQL Snowflake, and BI tools to deliver data to customers.
  • Understanding of MongoDB, Postgres, SQL, Snowflake, and transactional data workflows.
  • Design data models and build data architecture that enables reporting, analytics, and data science.
  • Interact with cross-functional development teams to gather and define requirements.
  • Develop an understanding of the data and builds business acumen.
  • Develop and maintain Data Warehouse and Datamart in the cloud using Snowflake/Azure.
  • Design and develop ETL/ELT structures to extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources into the data warehouse.
  • Create reporting dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Understand the business use cases and customer value behind large sets of data and develop meaningful analytic solutions.
  • Work alongside Data Scientists and Software Engineers for data needs and app deployment.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience working on large-scale data science/data analytics projects.
  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science or related technical/scientific field or 5+ years in Data Engineer development role.
  • 2+ years of a professional experience in a Data Engineering operations-type role
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, and data processing workflow.
  • Nice to have Spark/Scala, Analysis Services, and AWS experience.
  • Experience with accounting and/or audit data processes is a plus.
  • Strong communication and data presentation skills.
  • Leadership skillsets to mentor and train junior team members and stakeholders.

Additional Desirable Skills/ Experience:

  • Technology agnostic mindset with a proven experience in identifying and learning new systems, languages, and data frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude, yet disciplined and detailed-oriented
  • Familiar with Agile methodology environments, including both SCRUM and Kanban.

Typical Office Environment: Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking. May be required to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted. May be required to lift over 35 pounds using assistive device and/or team lift. Requires significant use of personal computer, phone and general office equipment. Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects. Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone.

Integrate is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Integrators  will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at one of our offices.
