We are looking for a Mid to Senior Software Engineer with skills in C# and/.Net to join a team to help our client (a world class online education platform) on a project that uses games as a learning experience for students. The client focuses on building the best digital curriculum capabilities and resources to enable teachers, administrators, parents, and students to benefit from innovative technologies designed to maximize potential. Job duties will include:

• Develop educational games that help teach language and literacy skills to children
• Collaborate with a multi-discipline team of designers, artists, product owners, and quality assurance
• Reports to a project team lead

Requirements:

• Strong experience with C# and .Net
• Experience with various automation testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Cypress, Selenium)
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (containerization)
• Experience with build system (ConcourseCI, Teamcity, Jenkins, Spinnaker),
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics, and arrive at sound analysis and judgment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to master new technologies quickly
• Knowledge with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle
• Great communication & collaboration skills

Preferred:

• React.js experience is a huge plus
• Proficient in data management and different database technologies, including NoSQL, GraphDB & SQL
• Experience with Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with Unity (game engine)
• Understanding/experience of cloud-based web technology (AWS preferred)
