“Always has their head in the clouds” may not sound like a compliment, but at SAIF, it’s exactly how we’d describe the perfect candidate for a job opening on our infrastructure team.

As our new cloud infrastructure engineer, you will be our resident expert for implementing cloud computing platforms and managing their interaction with collocated platforms. You’ll work with IT teams to set up cloud platform accounts and workspaces, as well as platform infrastructure components, such as identity and access management (IAM), VPC, storage, subnets, load balancers, and firewalls. You’ll provide day to day assistance for teams with their cloud platform needs, monitor security, costs, guardrails, and resources, and set up alerts.

If you have at least 3-5 years of experience working on cloud platform implementations and supporting cloud platform native services, tools, and infrastructure, preferably in AWS and MS Azure, and your head is usually in the cloud, we hope you apply.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience implementing and supporting infrastructure technology and networks. At least three of those years should include relevant experience supporting cloud-based environments.
• Relevant experience with integration of AWS and/or Azure cloud services with other cloud-based SaaS offerings as well as on-premises technologies from Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, etc. is desired.
• Working knowledge of the AWS services (EC2, RDS, Route53, S3, Control Tower, Billing, Cloud Watch, and ECS) is desired.
• Strong practical Linux and/or Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud and/or virtualized environment is extremely helpful.
• A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field is preferred.
