The Application Delivery team at The Standard is growing! As we embark upon a substantial digital transformation in the Actuarial department, we will be seeking two Software Engineers (junior, mid-level, or senior) to dig into the very important Digital Customer Experience body of work. This team will evaluate how the Actuary Department is conducting business now, move them to a centralized platform, and assist in building new processes on a modern, scalable platform. This initiative will allow for self-service enablement and will promote faster turn-around time to our valued customers. We welcome you to apply your engineering discipline & best practices to designing, and implementing new solutions, new features, and new functions which will have a direct business impact.

We are seeking two Software Engineers (junior, mid-level, or senior) who can bring some or all of the following skill sets:
- Full-stack; back-end experience in Java or .Net & front-end experience in Angular.
- Back-end coding experience in Java or .Net.
- Front-end application development experience in Angular.
- Cloud Azure
- Python
- SQL
- Work as a collaborative member on a SAFe agile team.
- Constantly pursue exceptional results that take us “next level.”
- Adapt quickly to feedback by adjusting priorities to fit new circumstances.
- EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of related experience.
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
