Position Title: Software Engineer (Java)
Required Skills:
4+ years of Java Engineering experience
Must have experience with Java, Spring frameworks and creating APIs
Experience Gathering Requirements From Project Stakeholders
Experience in an Agile environment
Must be open to change and wearing multiple hats if needed
Willingness to be on-call and take some calls after hours (company offers flex work schedule)
Desired Skills:
Experience/exposure to Postgres databases
Experience migrating applications from mainframe to Java
AWS Cloud development experience or understanding
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field of study
Description of Role/Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Java Developer who is ready to take the next step in their career. The selected candidate will be comfortable with Java, Spring frameworks and enjoy working in a smaller organization where they can truly make an impact. This organization is migrating their mainframe billing platform to Java and moving applications into AWS as well. The position is 100% remote and offers very flexible working hours.
