About the Connectivity Team:
The IoT Connectivity team builds and runs the services that connect millions of vehicles to the Autonomic Platform. We provide bi-directional communication between connected vehicles and the cloud. You'll join the dynamic team to build and grow Autonomic’s highly available connectivity solution that will allow us to scale to 100 million vehicles. You'll work with a system that is the front door for vehicles to the Autonomic platform.

Job Description
- Design, build, and deploy highly scalable software using technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, Cloud services.
- Contribute to the end-to-end product life cycle: conceptual design, development, quality assurance, deployment and production support.
- Nurture inter-team synergy and facilitate cross-team collaboration with positivity.
- Run and support the highly available services in multiple production environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related major, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of programming experience working in a professional environment
- Strong experience building microservices with Spring Boot/Java
- Sound foundations in object-oriented programming
- Experience building and designing high performance distributed systems solving large scale engineering challenges
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Extremely focused with minute attention to detail, accuracy, and our customer’s needs
- Self-driven and self-initiated team player
- An ability, experience and passion to support your own software in production
- Experience in working with observability/traceability technologies like Grafana, Prometheus, Honeycomb, Jaeger etc.
- A solid working knowledge of distributed messaging and streaming platforms, such as Apache Kafka and stream processing.
- Experience working with Kotlin or any reactive programming paradigms
- Expertise with Kubernetes is a strong plus
- Hands on experience with AWS, GCP or any public cloud platform
