About our Historical Data Processing Team:
Provides customers and other internal teams with the ability to ingest/process large amounts of data, store it, and make it easily accessible to our customers who are building the next generation of connected vehicle apps and services. As a member of the Historical Data Processing team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining SaaS products centered on connected vehicle data.
Someone who is passionate about building highly scalable, available, and resilient cloud services would be a great fit for this role. An ideal candidate will have the ability to take a lead role on feature work that would include design work and mentoring in addition to coding.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related major with 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of experience building high performance distributed systems or database systems which solve large scale engineering challenges
- 2+ years of experience working with microservices with REST and/or gRPC interfaces
- 1+ years of experience designing, architecting and building streaming processing systems
- 1+ years of experience designing, building and owning production deployments in data processing and messaging systems such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Apache Flink, Apache Druid, MongoDB, Couchbase
- 2+ years of experience in Cloud Platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure
- 1+ years of experience developing apps that run on Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Spring/Java microservices
- Self-directed and proactive attitude
- Flexibility for occasional travel
- Professional, friendly and approachable at all times
- Experience building application in the transportation industry
- 2+ years of experience with mentoring engineers
- 2+ years experience as a technical lead on a product team
- Experience or interest in DevOps
