The Dayforce Benefits Product Development team is looking for an experienced Software Developer to create the industry’s next generation Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
Reporting to the Development Manager of the Benefits team, the Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing and implementing new products and features as well as enhancing existing solutions. S/He will collaborate with an experienced team of Developers, Test Engineers, and Technical Product Managers throughout the development process to ensure the product is functionally complete and well-engineered. - 5+ years of hands-on experience including modern web technologies from professional projects
- Strong coding skills in object-oriented as well as modern programming languages including .NET/ASP.NET/MVC, .NET Core, JSON, React, JavaScript, Dojo, HTML, CSS 3
- Smart and driven individual who is passionate about learning new technologies and building high quality cloud applications
- Disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile development team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with designing and implementing APIs
- Experience working with SaaS Enterprise Software and Release Engineering/DevOps
- Experience in applying design patterns, writing unit tests, and optimizing performance in application level
- Advance level knowledge of modern relational databases architecture and SQL
- Passion for solving hard problems and knows how to have fun!
- Experience with MicroServices, MicroFrontEnd, Containers
- Desirable – Kafka, NoSQL DB, Elastic Search, Specflow, Kubernetes, Git, NuGet packaging, GraphQL
- Experience working with a distributed team in Agile development environment
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops (TFS) and/or JIRA for application lifecycle management
