About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Development Manager, the Senior Test Automation Engineer is primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables throughout the agile development lifecycle.
This is a combination of a technical role (requiring excellent coding skills and a thorough understanding of coding practices) along with test design and execution to devise and execute testing strategies. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with all stakeholders to create high quality test automation tools and solutions to drive the highest standards. By working closely with our Business Analysts and Developers, you will design, implement, and execute tests focusing on scenarios aimed at delivering quality code to our large user base. As a member of our cross-functional agile team, you will also gain domain exposure by supporting the deployed solutions along with developers.
While growing your technical skills, you will develop deep technical expertise and gain valuable business and industry-related experience.

What you'll get to do:
- Actively participate in continuous quality improvements for the team’s products and processes with automated testing
- Design and develop strategic automation framework and tests with focus on code readability and maintainability
- Analyze test results, investigate, report and track product failures and improve the areas with higher defect trends
- Grow your technical skills through continuous learning and test automation initiatives
- Product Testing - Find ways to break the code and prevent issues
- Ensure traceability between product requirements, delivered code and test case verification
- Become a product expert in functional and technical knowledge in all the team’s areas
- Support the deployed products of the team
- Strong background creating automation tests with JS/Typescript in node env
- Strong experience in unit, integration and end-to-end testing
- Strong experience and knowledge in Object Oriented Programming using C# or Java
- Extensive experience in enterprise software development / QA
- Solid experience creating and maintaining test scripts using BDD / TDD automation frameworks, such as SpecFlow, Cucumber
- Solid experience with Selenium Webdriver (not Selenium IDE) and Cypress
- Excellent understanding in the principles of testable code
- Ability to create and maintain CI/CT/CD testing in pipeline
- Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience in supporting enterprise applications
- Experience with Azure DevOps tooling and testing is an advantage
- Have a positive and all in attitude to work collaboratively within and across teams
