Lead Developer, Clock Devices Team
The Dayforce Product Development team is looking for an experienced Software Developer to create the industry’s next generation Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
As a lead developer on our Clock Devices team, you will be working on our ground-breaking solution that helps companies increase their efficiencies through tracking time and attendance of their employees using specialized hardware and software devices. Your impact will be evident through your effective participation in the entire lifecycle of our software including design, analysis, prototyping, development, testing and support of our products. You will work closely and collaborate with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel to envision and deliver the required functionality. You will be conducting code reviews of peer work and mentoring other developers. You will work on designs within the team and represent the team with external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of active development using Java or C#
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principals and design patterns
- Experience with SQL database and TSQL
- Experience with Android SDK and development
- Experience with HTML and JavaScript
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with Agile projects
- Experience with Azure DevOps Server (Team Foundation Server)
- Goal oriented with solid planning and time management skills
- Strong experience on unit testing and CI build process
- Experience with Azure/AWS cloud platforms
- Experience with web services
- Experience with various network protocols
- Android Platform development and knowledge of Android or Linux kernels
- Experience with integrating Android OS with various hardware devices
- MFE (Multi Front End) development, event driven architecture
- Update HTML/JavaScript section on hand-on experience of React JS
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks. (e.g., React, Redux, Ajax, Svelte)
- Experience with Kotlin / Kotlin multiplatform is an asset
- Hand-on experience with C++ programing
- Native iOS development and Swift programming expertise
- Understanding and knowledge of Apple’s HIG
- Experience with Kotlin or other multiplatform frameworks
- Committed to sustainable development, testing, and high-quality code
- Workforce management domain experience a significant plus
- A passion for UI & UX
