Your Responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts for one or more Agile development teams while being a code-contributing member
- Analyze, design and deliver flexible, scalable and resilient software solutions
- Deliver products and provide operational support using an automation first approach
- Partner with product teams to ensure solutions support business goals and standards
- Perform design and code reviews
- Help the team prioritize tasks and maintain timelines to achieve delivery goals
You have 7+ years leading application development teams, a Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent and demonstrated experience in:
- Leading and supporting Agile development teams
- Software development and automated testing with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS
- Using automation to develop & deploy AWS Cloud Native applications
- Leveraging application containers and container management solutions like Docker, Kubernetes, and Fargate
- Working with a variety of technology stacks and learning new technologies
- Developing web and mobile friendly applications
- Providing technology thought leadership (architecture, design, security, cloud and agile)
- Java/J2EE, Scala, Kotlin, C/C++ languages
- Scripting/automation tools
- Web application frameworks such as Angular and React
- RESTful services, API Gateways, and PostMan
- Tools: Jira, Confluence and GitLab
- Microservices and microservice frameworks
