In this role, you will be responsible for supplementing and supporting the designers and back-end development teams. As a well-rounded front-end developer, you will have an opportunity to share best practices, design patterns, and frameworks, while understanding the implications of software designs and implementation choices on application usability, performance, and maintainability.

In this role, you will be responsible for supplementing and supporting the designers and back-end development teams. As a well-rounded front-end developer, you will have an opportunity to share best practices, design patterns, and frameworks, while understanding the implications of software designs and implementation choices on application usability, performance, and maintainability.
- Please note: Candidates currently living in the US and in the Eastern Time Zone will only be considered for this position.
- Build new and unique application interactions based on an existing design framework
- Work in partnership with product management, design, and development teams to deliver the desired product on time
- Assist in design to help the entire product team understand the desired customer experience: storyboards; flows; wireframes and prototypes
- Passion to learn emerging technologies and embrace continuous professional development is a must
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Design or Development, or similar degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Front-End development
- Advanced HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript experience
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
- Strong problem solving/code conceptualizing skills and an intuitive nature
- Self-motivated and willing to "do what it takes" to get the job done
- Familiarity with Angular, React, Backbone, or a front-end Javascript framework
- Knowledge of different browser quirks with Internet Explorer (IE), Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Mobile browsers on both PCs and MACs
- Experience in responsive design methodologies
- Knowledge of Git
- Experience working for a Commercial software company preferred
- Familiarity with Bootstrap, Foundation, or other CSS frameworks is a plus
- Active Github repo (or portfolio) a plus preferred
