Position Description
We have an immediate need for a senior software engineer with proven experience developing mission critical systems software. As part of our team you will contribute to the design and development of STeaM - our data engineering platform built for realtime CX.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in writing stream processing logic on top of the Apache Pulsar API. The candidate should have a strong understanding of the Apache Pulsar architecture and associated tools, hands on experience with running one or more streaming systems built on top of Apache Pulsar, and have experience in the design, deployment, and maintenance of Apache Pulsar clusters. A deep understanding of Apache Pulsar internals would be a definite asset.
You will have a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. You will have at least 5 years of experience developing software in a systems programming language such as Java, and extensive experience with data structures and algorithms. You will have a proven track record of delivering complex mission critical software that has met the stakeholder's needs in production.
