JOB TITLE: Software Engineer - FMS Datalink (Remote)

ABOUT THE JOB:
This position is responsible for software development and/or software verification of the Datalink function for a Flight Management System (FMS). FMS experience is highly preferred but not absolutely necessary for all positions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 5+ years embedded avionics experience
• 5+ years experience in the following:
  • Software low-level requirements development
  • Software high-level verification test procedure development
• DO-178B/C lifecycle familiarity
• Excellent communication skills with a positive client-facing demeanor
• Ability to quickly grasp new processes and tasks
• Strong willingness to drive self-learning process
• Experience working with remote team members

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• FMS experience; particularly B737 FMS
• FMS Datalink / ACARS experience
• Experience with Ada coding language
• Experience using DOORS requirements and test case documentation tool
• Experience with Git software configuration tool
• Visual Basic or other scripting language experience
