We are looking for a customer-facing Solutions Engineer who has experience working with open source technology and familiarity with traditional infrastructure networking and security and modern cloud-native technologies (Linux, Docker).

We need someone who:

• Is energized by technology and will work closely with our sales reps and founders to address business challenges.
• Listens deeply and perceives feedback as an opportunity to improve.
• Demonstrates a high level of empathy, resilience, and humility.
• Works well with Account Executives on delivering demonstrations and engaging with customers through their evaluation of Teleport.
• Is a self-starter with a track record of success in their professional or personal life.
• Doesn’t mind helping across various go-to-market activities, including marketing collateral, product positioning, customer interviews, sales cycle optimizations, traveling to conferences, brand evangelism, attending meetups, etc.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of solutions/sales engineering and/or software engineer at SAAS, Open Source or Enterprise Software company.
• Experience with using/configuring/debugging Linux machines and Network issues.
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Strong experience with at least one major Cloud Provider  (Azure/AWS/GCP)

Nice to Haves:

• Strong listening and storytelling skills.
• Experience with Docker.
