NetBase Quid is a next generation consumer and market intelligence platform, delivering contextual insights to reveal business trends, connect with consumers, and understand the story behind competitors and the market. The Insights Delivery Team is a team of passionate analysts and storytellers, focused on pairing best-in-class technology with human intelligence to tell stories that drive action. We work with top brands across a number of verticals from Consumer-Packaged Goods, Media & Entertainment, Financial Services, Healthcare, Quick-Service Restaurants, Retail and Technology, leveraging and building upon the vast set of tools and datasets within the NetBase Quid platform to deliver insights across a number of use cases including Brand Positioning, Brand Health Tracking, Competitive Intelligence, Content Strategy, Corporate Strategy, and Innovation and R&D.

Position Overview

Analysts are critical independent contributors on the Insights Delivery team and you should expect to be an immediate contributor on strategic projects. You will work across multiple project work streams, conducting analysis across a number of clients and verticals. You will establish trust-based relationships, serve senior executives with critical insights, and identify business development opportunities to expand NetBase Quid, INC Products and Services into clients’ strategic processes.

The Opportunity

• Perform analyses on Insights Delivery projects using some of NetBase and Quid’s most advanced Natural Language Processing methodologies, independently and/or in conjunction with Associates, Sr. Associates and Research Managers across the team.

• Leverage NetBase Quid’s latest capabilities and methodologies (and test new ones) to add critical insights to senior client executives. Recent examples include a) analyzing competitors’ job postings and hiring requirements to better predict future strategic moves, b) analyzing trends within the functional foods category to inform future ingredient development and positioning, and c) understanding how consumers are responding competitors are reacting to recent racial tensions across the U.S. to recommend initiatives and strategies to be implemented during the pandemic

• Build and maintain a trusted relationship with our key clients, especially as we work with VPs and SVPs across some of the U.S.’s largest corporations

• Collaborate with Data Science to test new approaches with unstructured data and leverage these advanced tools to transform data.

• Develop new ways for clients to leverage NetBase and Quid to solve strategic questions. This is specifically relevant as we roll out new features and implement additional datasets to our product

• Strategically identify potential service opportunities within our client base and beyond

• Advocate client needs/issues to the product and engineering team to build an exceptional product

  Opportunity to work full-time and on-site at any of NetBase Quid offices (NY/SF) post-COVID restrictions, or full-time remotely within US time zone

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, data analytics, strategic consulting or similarly analytical roles
• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required
• Successful team members show initiative, drive, passion for learning, and a curious mind
• Familiarity with text analytics and social listening tools preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and willing to learn new tools quickly
• The power to take initiative, communicate across teams, and solve problems creatively, both in teams and individually
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Valid U.S. work authorization is required
