Software Support Engineer / Support Programmer / Sustaining Engineer

About Us:

Enmark is currently looking for a Software Support Engineer/Support Programmer to triage and solve complex programming issues. To be successful in this position you will need to interact with members of the programming staff, support staff and clients on occasion and having excellent Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills will prove extremely useful in finding resolutions to issues. We are a fast paced, high growth company looking for a high energy, meticulous person who wants to be part of our dynamic team.

Some of the things you will do:

· Occasional customer interactions will be required as part of this job.

· Areas of focus are inventory management, order entry, and accounting.

· You will need to design temporary work arounds; trouble shoot source code and fix corrupted data.

· You will need the ability to produce high quality documentation describing cause-and-effect relationships so others can help resolve issues.

· You will identify trends in cases to help senior management develop strategies to prevent future problems. Examples of this could include more training, product improvements for self-service, reliability concerns or QA testing.

What we are looking for:

· Ability to learn innovative technologies and industries quickly.

· Strong SQL, VB, .Net (moderate), and systems programming experience desired.

· Accounting and/or manufacturing skills will help, but not required.

· Documentation and verbal skills are necessary.

· Ability to work independently.

· Excellent organizational skills are a plus.

· The ability to deal with many inputs (frontline staff, other developers, customers) and remain focused on the task at hand is paramount.

Location & Work Environment:

Our office is located in Ann Arbor Michigan, but this position is able to be fully remote, in the office or hybrid situation that works best for the candidate.
