Team & Position Details:

Our technical teams are growing!  We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer who is dedicated to high quality production using (but not limited to) javascript, java, Python, and Go for the frontend of Virtru's digital privacy products. The ideal candidate will have a natural passion for digital privacy, software development, and great user experiences.  You’ll have the opportunity to work with a stellar team of passionate engineers who are collaborative, cohesive, and dedicated to producing high-quality results.  We encourage curiosity and have a culture that encourages growth.  As an engineer on this team, you will be on the cutting edge of Zero-Trust - the future of data and service protection!

As a Full Stack Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Build software that will meaningfully impact how people approach data privacy
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment where you'll touch lots of projects and products
• Build React applications and/or use other frameworks/toolchains including Node, Next, Angular, Babel, Webpack, Express
• Deploy and operate a highly available, scalable Enterprise SaaS application in a DevOps environment
• Take ownership of the entire lifecycle and toolchain of an application from code, to various types of automated tests (unit, integration, Selenium, canaries)
• Demonstrate understanding of software design patterns

Skills that will help you thrive in this role:

• 2+ years developing with modern Javascript framework practices
• Experience using Docker to accelerate all aspects of the development lifecycle (dev, test, deployment)
• Experience working with other programming languages; especially Javascript and Go
• Experience building and deploying applications using AWS Cloud Infrastructure (DynamoDB, EC2, Lambda, SQS, S3, VPC, ALB, NLB, API Gateway, etc)
