The Role:**

Intel 471 is looking for a Vulnerability Intelligence Analyst to join our world-class team, reporting to the Vulnerability Intelligence Team Principal. The role can be located within the EU on a remote basis.

We are looking for a full-time Vulnerability Intelligence Analyst with a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) background, to expand our world-class Vulnerability team that focuses on monitoring, researching and assessing vulnerabilities. This role will be centered on facilitating the needs of our customers and internal team members where vulnerabilities and exploits are concerned. You will be driving customer-facing content creation and as such will be required to work proactively and self motivate, utilizing Intel 471 products in their unique environments to help us remain the voice of reason and truth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties will include:

• Monitors public and underground sources for vulnerability information
• Perform deep assessments of new and existing vulnerabilities
• Research and compile actionable reports
• Verbally brief on issues of internal and external interest
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of information throughout our reporting
• Responds to internal and external customer inquiries on vulnerabilities and related topics
• Create intelligence collection requirements
• Develop and maintain tools to facilitate the automation of our vulnerability and exploit reporting process
• Maintain a working knowledge and increased understanding of the CTI subject matter to enable effective reporting of highly specialized content.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Computer Security and CTI experience
• Understanding of different vulnerability types and common weakness enumeration
• Familiarity with web application and OS-level vulnerability categories and documentation
• Excellent reading and writing proficiency in English is required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Understanding of security and networking basics
• Understanding of one or more of the following: PHP, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Ruby

The candidate will report to our Vulnerability Team Principal but will be expected to interact and work closely with other areas of the company as needed. The role is available to candidates based anywhere in Europe, but will require occasional travel within the United States, Europe and Asia. The role requires regular contact with our international dispersed team located in the United States, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, and Asia, as such comfort working with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds is required.
