WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BA/BS or equivalent years of experience

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of Java work experience
• 2+ years of application development experience (Tomcat and JEE)
• 2+ years of Oracle database experience including familiarity with PL/SQL scripts
• 2+ years of AWS experience

Required Technical Skills:

• AWS Experience:
  • Deploying Springboot services to AWS EC2, ECS and/or Fargate instances
  • Experience with Gitlab Runner and Docker
  • Experience with creating and maintaining Terraform scripts
  • Experience working with Amazon Elastic Load Balancers
  • Experience with Amazon API Gateway and Lambda functions
  • Experience with configuring routes, VPCs and subnets
• REST Web Service experience is STRONGLY recommended
• Spring/SpringBoot Framework experience is STRONGLY recommended
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments is recommended
• Experience in the use of ETL tools, particularly in a migration from non-relational systems to relational data stores.
• Experience working with automated build environments and tools like Jenkins and Maven
• Experience with Junit, SONAR, Cloudbees, Jersey are a plus
• Experience with migration patterns from legacy data storage mechanisms to web based, more standard data stores. This experience should include experience dealing with legacy style data stores.

The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
