PowDevs is looking for a QA Analyst for a US Fintech Clients that offers a comprehensive suite of electronic payment solutions including debit and credit card processing, ACH processing, Instant Funding and electronic bill payment systems with full IVR, text and mobile capabilities. They give its customers the ability to accept a payment anytime, anywhere, and through any channel while providing a secure, seamless and enjoyable payment experience.  The scalability of its products allows merchants of all sizes to add an instant arsenal of intelligent payment technology solutions to their businesses without large development costs or infrastructure investments.

Our US Client is growing and looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with 3 years of experience to be part of our Agile and growing software development team in expanding our core payment processing platform and products within the Consumer Finance - Payments industry. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for maintaining and running manual test cases and have an immediate and measurable impact on our fast-growing business by helping us reach the next level and stage of growth. The primary function of the Quality Engineer is to break down business requirements into test cases and perform these tests as necessary. Our Client includes several Systems Under Test and the products may change quickly so the ability to pivot is essential.

You’ll be responsible for:

 Analyzing business requirements and creating test cases.

 Creating test plans and suites for products and initiatives.

 Strong Quality fundamentals and best practices.

 Providing mentoring on Quality principles for development teams.

 Performing manual testing of products and solutions.

 Evaluating product readiness for production.

 Logging defects and the steps to reproduce.

 Coordinate with developers to ensure timely mitigation of defects.

 Providing Quality related metrics.

 Working with SDETs and Architects to prioritize test cases for automation.

Skills & Requirements:

 Strong experience with API Testing and Exploratory Testing.

 Requirement analysis including traceability and test case creation.

 Identify additional test coverage not documented in requirements or acceptance criteria.

 Demonstrated test planning and documentation.

 Test case management and categorization.

 Prioritizing test cases based on business risk.

 Strong written communication skills.

 Expert level Quality fundamentals and best practices.

 Experience with testing highly available systems.

 Understanding of application security.

 Ability to coordinate testing efforts between teams for larger business goals.

 Extensive experience with defect reporting including all the necessary elements and repeatability.

Bonus Skills:

 Payment processing and ACH standards background strongly preferred.

 Familiarity with NACHA.

 Fintech experience.

 Familiarity with PCI compliance.

 Experience with continuous integration and automated build tools such as Jenkins.

 Experience with virtualization.

 Experience with microservices.

 Experience with navigating databases.

 Scripting experience (Bash, Zsh, PowerShell).

What we offer:

100% Remote work.

Salary Range - $14 to $19 USD per hour(According to experience).

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Language: English B2-C1 (Upper-Intermediate - Advanced).
