The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help develop IronNet’s range of network sensor appliances. You'll work with and help lead a team of engineers to develop and maintain appliances in data centers and the cloud. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large amounts of network data and building systems that are easy to use, maintain, and develop.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to/have professional working experience with:
Developing high performance, low level software, preferably for networking or hardware appliances.
Providing technical leadership to a team of developers and working with Product Management to maintain a product roadmap.
Communicating clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and occasionally customers.
Working in an SAFe Agile team environment.
Working within the boundaries of enterprise level compliance and security requirements.
You may be our next Senior Software Engineer if your experience aligns with the following:
Skill level typically commensurate with 10-15 years of professional working experience developing and maintaining software on linux and cloud systems.
Experience with multiple languages, preferably C/C++, Python, or Go.
Prior experience developing and supporting services running in a Linux environment, including experience with common linux debugging techniques and commands.
Experience or familiarity developing applications for cloud and virtualization platforms, preferably AWS or VMWare.
Prior experience using, supporting, or developing networking or security appliances.Prior experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and testing patterns.
