Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineer – Android Applications, in a fully remote environment to join a cutting-edge Technology and AI oriented company as a permanent/internal employee. The Software Engineer – Android Applications will utilize gesture enabled technologies to enhance how humans’ interface with technology day-to-day.

Responsibilities of the Software Engineer – Android Applications include:
  • Demonstrate live examples of gesture enabled technologies
  • Program mobile software applications to integrate with robotic and drone technology
  • Build, enhance, and upgrade neurological technologies within AR/VR environments
  • Provide direct engineering technical support to clients that have licensed their technology
  • Support Business Development and Product Leads at on-site events and conferences



Qualifications for the Software Engineer – Android Applications include:
  • 3+ years of experience with product development and hardware/software integrations
  • Experience leading live technical demonstrations utilizing proprietary software
  • Demonstrate experience with Java, Kotlin, React, Flutter, Angular, Gitbook, Android, or iOS
  • Must be willing to travel in Post-COVID environment
  • Must be a US citizen who is eligible for a Security Clearance



Compensation for the Software Engineer – Android Applications includes:
  • Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000 *depending on experience*
  • Benefits: 75% Medical Coverage, 100% Dental & Vision, Unlimited PTO, Paid Holidays, and 401K with match
