Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Ruby on Rails Software Developer to join an innovative Healthcare Technology Organization. The Ruby on Rails Software Developer will help develop the web-based user interface software.

Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Ruby on Rails Software Developer to join an innovative Healthcare Technology Organization. The Ruby on Rails Software Developer will help develop the web-based user interface software.
Responsibilities of the Ruby on Rails Software Developer include:
- Work within and across the team of highly motivated and disciplined professionals spanning multiple functions (e.g. engineering, data services, product)
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet the needs of demanding, complex, enterprise healthcare customers
- Be comfortable challenging assumptions and making decisions based on a blend of intuition, experience, creativity, and user research
- Ensure the customers experience the least friction possible while delivering products that will solve their needs
- Thrive in a highly collaborative, fun, and professional startup environment, co-founded by industry veterans
- Track record of successfully delivering web-based user interface software, ideally in a high-growth, PE/VC-backed technology company
- Extensive experience as a full stack developer, with particular strength in UX development
- Expert in Ruby on Rails
- Hands-on Experience with CSS, Javascript (partnering with Product Team to enhance UX design) Postgres, Redis, GitHub
- Understanding of DevOps (AWS EC2, RDS)
- Ability to collaborate with Product Management team using Agile methodologies to develop, scope, and execute work assignments
- Experience working with a virtual, geographically dispersed team, supporting East Coast business hours
- Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000 **depending on experience**
