Job-Overview
The Omnichannel product is a diverse team responsible for development and maintenance of both Field branch and Home Office Service applications. Our team supports our Financial Advisors through providing timely support and insight into the status of their requests utilizing various tools to communicate with clients as well as home office Operations and Service areas.
What You'll Do…..
Act as a Full Stack Java Developer with emphasis on both Java and front-end development
Translate business requirements into system design, work directly with business analysts on requirements, prepare detailed technical specifications, and provide hour or story point estimates
Perform tech lead role under minimal direction to design, code, test, debug, and maintain programs
Develop new web applications using Springboot, React, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and automated pipeline
Maintain existing web applications utilizing Weblogic, Maven, jQuery
Test existing and new applications using Selenium and Rest Assured QA Technologies
Provide system support, including on-call rotation, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issue
Provide guidance, training and mentorship to other associates, including performing code peer reviews, suggesting best practices and following SDLC processes
Skills-Requirements
What you'll need…..
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field preferred
5+ years' experience developing responsive and browser agnostic web applications in an enterprise environment
5+ years' experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Advanced JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON
2+ years' experience with React
Ability to use CSS extensively to create custom and rich user interfaces
Backend development skills such as Java, JEE, JSP, Thymeleaf, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST, Junit, and XML are required
Strong experience with API development and gateways
Good understanding of Micro Service Architecture
Knowledge and experience with any of the following technologies is a plus:
Kafka
MongoDB
Redux
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues in business terms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to design, develop, test, document and implement quality software within targeted timeframes
Experience or training in the AGILE project management methodology
