Position Summary
Marqeta is looking for talented software engineers to join our core Foundation Infrastructure team. You’ll write software that helps ensure visibility, life cycle management, compliance and security for our systems and infrastructure.

Position Summary
Marqeta is looking for talented software engineers to join our core Foundation Infrastructure team. You’ll write software that helps ensure visibility, life cycle management, compliance and security for our systems and infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Develop software and internal tooling to drive automation towards compliance, security and other areas of cloud infrastructure.
- Empowering engineering teams to self-serve infrastructure changes, while removing humans in the workflow.
- Work on tooling related to cloud governance; tagging, cost allocation, quarterly compliance reviews and others.
- Lead projects and drive them to completion.
- Passionate about solving problems through your computer programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’re able to write thoughtful design documentation and provide feedback for others.
- Know how to own and support positive outcomes.
- Expert in automation and orchestration platforms (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). Hands on experience designing and developing infrastructure and Database automation.
- Experience automating in cloud environments, preferably Amazon Web Services.
- Knowledge of relational OLTP databases
