We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to be a key member of the Phido/Digital Engineering team. As part of your normal duties, you will be developing on backend systems, 3rd party communications, and customer facing user interfaces. You will need to have specialized knowledge and the ability to be self-sufficient in an engineering role solving problems using primarily PHP (Laravel Framework) and React. You should be willing to learn new languages and frameworks as required. Looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working as part of a team dedicated to creating the highest quality experiences.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers, designers and various stakeholders across the business to conceptualize new features.
Brainstorm with fellow team members to estimate the feasibility and implementation strategies of deliverables.
Work within a PHP Laravel / React environment to maintain and extend our current applications.
Architect and build robust software using modern web technologies in an Agile environment.
Provide front end support for existing products as well as evaluate solutions for marketing initiatives such as CMS, landing pages, PDD/PLP templates and A/B testing.
Optimize front-end code to ensure a consistent and fast experience for our users, for both desktop and mobile web.
Work with other engineers and help with code reviews.
What you need to have
3-5+ years’ experience building and debugging highly-scalable interactive web applications
Experience of PHP using the Laravel Framework. C#, Node.Js knowledge a plus
Experience with modern front-end frameworks, libraries and tools (e.g. React, Node, Bootstrap, Mobify, Tailwind, Angular etc.)
Experience with modern browser technologies and its supporting structures (HTML5, CSS, Postgresql, Varnish etc.)
Experience developing on a Digital Commerce platforms; Sales Force, Shopify, Oracle etc
Experience in designing and writing application integration software to have data move between systems; PIM, Message Bus/ETL
Have strong opinions about web front end architecture and can communicate them in a professional manner, appreciating other team members feedback and constructive criticism
Experience working and engineering APIs and API services (Laravel PHP framework, GCP Apigee, AWS API gateway etc)
Working knowledge and ability to write unit tests and automated testing
Have a positive attitude with a desire to learn and teach
Things that make you stand out
Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins or Codeship
Having DBA experience or experience troubleshooting databases
Experience with Salesforce and APEX language
Knowledge and developed projects using the Laravel PHP Framework
Understanding of data and business process flows around order management in relation to B2B, B2C, DTC and 3PL
BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering
