Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing and supporting existing web applications
- Developing RESTful APIs and integrating with internal web services
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure high quality software within schedule constraints
- Partner with Product Owner and other stakeholders to prioritize enhancements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field, or relevant professional experience.
- Experience in analysis, design, development, and deployment of large-scale enterprise applications
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts, preferably with Java or C#/.Net experience
- Understanding of web security patterns and common API authentication patterns (OAuth, JWTs)
- Ability to diagnose performance issues and recommend optimizations
- Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases
- Understanding of web technologies such as Javascript, HTML and CSS
- Solid knowledge of XML and JSON
- Have a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
Prior work experience in a financial services industry
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience developing reactive web applications in frameworks such as Lightning, Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience developing in an enterprise environment such as source code control, continuous deployment, release management.
- Experience working with content management frameworks or platforms.
