The Associate Software Engineer works with the RCA Engineering Team to deliver on projects. Principal Responsibilities And Essential Duties
Principal Responsibilities And Essential Duties
- Work within the RCA Engineering team to develop applications to support our in-house audit partners
- Design and implement new solutions for on-premise and in a cloud environment
- Learn new technologies and apply them to the problem space
- Peer review software changes by other developers
- Provide technical guidance to the team on development
- Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience in development working with Java
- Development using object-oriented methodologies
- Knowledge of functional programming
- Knowledge of cloud development and microservices
- Knowledge and application of agile practices
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Java/JDK 8
- MS SQL Server
- Kafka
- PySpark
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
