We are a looking for a self motivated backend website developer to join our team. You will work under our Sr. Developer and report your work directly to them.

We provide all necessary equipment to perform this job effectively. This job will be primarily work from home and coming to the office intermittently for meetings, collaborations and so forth.

Qualifications

- PHP

- HTML5 / CSS3

- JavaScript (Vanilla)

- Vue, React or similar JS framework experience

- Git workflow experience

- Laravel experience (including build tools such as webpack)

Bonus Skills (nice to have, but not vital to applying):

- NativeScript (Vue or TypeScript)

- NodeJS

- TypeScript

- PHP 8 experience

- WordPress experience

- App development experience

- UX/UI experience

- Front-end design

Work Communication:

You will be expected to be able to communicate effectively through the provided platforms of our work environment:

- Slack messaging (primary)

- Slack calls

- Jira project management

Projects:

Following project requirements and deadlines, you will be working primarily on backend, working with Laravel. Some work will be front-end related.

You will be expected to keep track of your own time, and give regular updates.

You will submit work through git pull requests, which will be reviewed periodically by a peer.

Work on WordPress websites is also available.
