Overview
AM LLC is seeking (1) Tech Lead (Senior Software Developer) to support our VA client. This resource will be working remotely from home but must be able to travel up to 4-5 times per year for Agile planning meetings after Covid restrictions have been lifted. US citizenship or Green Card is required due to Public Trust clearance requirements.
Responsibilities
A Tech Lead (Senior Software Developer) must be able to create logical and functional software code in a variety of languages. Must have experience in understanding and articulating the benefits and risks associated with different coding languages in different functional environments. Must have experience reacting to problems and correcting the program as necessary.

Resource must be able to lead and guide the team, apply business and functional knowledge to meet the requirements with best software development methodologies and principles . Review and integrate technical and application architecture requirements, in addition to having the follwoing experience:

Qualifications
General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience
- 8 years of additional, relevant experience may be substituted for education
- An active Veterans Administration PIV card is a strong plus
Resource must be able to lead and guide the team, apply business and functional knowledge to meet the requirements with best software development methodologies and principles . Review and integrate technical and application architecture requirements, in addition to having the follwoing experience:
- Spring framework concepts, Spring Boot
- REST, SOAP web services
- Authentication mechanisms (SAML, OAuth)
- Multi-threading (concurrency)
- JMS, Schedulers, workflow engines
- Git
- Maven
- CI/CD
- Hibernate
- Oracle and Postgres databases
- JMeter, JUnit, functional testing.
- Agile development experience
- Docker, Orchestration using Kubernetes
- AWS Cloud, Apache Kafka
- Logging aggregators like (EFK or ELK)
- Splunk, SonarQube, JMeter.
- Data transformation across systems
- Java
