AM LLC has an immediate opening for (1) remote Backend Java Developer to support our Veterans Administration client. Note: Due to federal government security clearance requirements, applicants must be a US citizen or Green Card holder to be considered.

The Java Backend Developer is responsible for participating in the full agile application development life cycle for new development design, construction, and testing of Java applications, Web Services (SOAP and REST), and reusable components to support overall project, to include:

Responsibilities
The Java Backend Developer is responsible for participating in the full agile application development life cycle for new development design, construction, and testing of Java applications, Web Services (SOAP and REST), and reusable components to support overall project, to include:
- Spring framework concepts
- Spring boot
- REST, SOAP web services
- Authentication mechanisms (SAML, OAuth)
- Multi-threading (concurrency)
- JMS, Schedulers, workflow engines
- Git, Maven, CI/CD, RedHat
- Docker
- JPA
- Hibernate, Oracle and Postgres databases
- JMeter, unit, functional testing.
- Agile development experience
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline required
- Additional 8 years of experience can be substituted for the degree
- Active VA PIV card a strong plus
